Mr. Kikujiro NAMBA

  • Mr. Namba is president of Promotech, K.K., a technology consulting company based in Tokyo. He has been involved with various leading-edge technology development projects, including nuclear fusion, sterling engine, solar cell, pertier device, and fuel cell. He formerly served Technova, Inc., a technology thinktank based in Tokyo, as a Top management. Previously Mr. Namba founded Japon Europe Tourism, SA in Paris, which he sold to Jal Pak. Mr. Namba lived in Paris for 18 years, mostly at Air France.
  • Mr. Namba is also a visionary in global environmental issues and supports various non-profit initiatives. He is an active member of the Club of Rome and the Chairman of the board at Earth Watch Japan.
  • Mr. Namba is a graduate of Waseda University.

Dr. Nobuaki TAMAGAWA (Ph.D)

  • Dr. Tamagawa currently serves DuPont K.K. as a technology advisor. He had been the Director at DuPont K.K. Advanced Technology Research Center until he retired in 2000. Previously he held various research and development positions at SONY K.K., including the Director at Magnetic Products Division and the President at SONY America Alabama Factory.
  • Dr. Tamagawa was instrumental in launching Asian business for Yet2.com, web-based technology transfer service company based in Cambridge, Masachusettes.
  • Dr. Tamagawa is also the Representative for State of Delaware Japan Office.

Dr. Masahiro MICHISHITA (M.D. Ph.D)

  • Dr. Michishita is a Managing Director at Pacific Rim Ventures, Co. Ltd., an international venture capital firm based in Tokyo, focusing life science industry.
  • Prior to establishing PRV, Dr. Michishita was Investment Officer, International Investment Group, JAFCO Co., Ltd. In that capacity he invested in medical device, biopharmaceutical, and healthcare information technology companies in the US, Europe and Israel. Previously Dr. Michishita was employed by Procter & Gamble Far East, Inc., the Boston Consulting Group, and Eisai Co., Ltd., Japan. Dr. Michishita received his M.D. degree at Kanazawa University and his Ph.D. degree in medical science at Kyoto University. He was also a research fellow in the Leukocyte Biology & Inflammation Program at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Michishita is board-certified in Internal Medicine and worked at the Hematology-Oncology Division of Kyoto University Hospital. His research has been published in Cell, J. Biological Chemistry, Exp. Cell Res. and J. Immunology.
